PCS orders are coming, How Can I prepare my home?
You know it is coming. You are due for PCS orders. The wait for receiving official hard orders is really a game in patience. You want to know where you are moving to and when. While there’s not much you can do to hurry that process, there are quite a few things you can do to your home to get it ready to be put on the market before you know the key details of your move.
Areas to focus on:
-Outside
-Entryway
-Kitchen/Dining room
-Living Room
-Bathrooms
Focus on Clutter, family photos, or specific unique decor items first. While they are precious to you, buyers want to envision themselves in your home. Target, and even Goodwill, can be good places to find art to hang to fill some gaps. When you’re ready to tackle the kitchen, clear off the countertops, keep no more than 3 or 4 items, think coffee pot and some flowers.
The small details are what really can give you the upper hand when it comes to attracting buyers. We have a whole Seller’s guide on how to properly prepare your home for Listing. If you would like a copy, connect with us today!
